Rolling Guardians head home to open series with Rays

Stars return to Kansas City after four-game sweep in North Carolina

Guardians lead International League West by 10 games; Rays lurk in second place

The Kansas City Royals' Triple-A affiliate, the Omaha Storm Chasers, will return home to Werner Park on Tuesday to open a six-game series against the Durham Bulls, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Storm Chasers are coming off a four-game sweep of the Charlotte Knights in North Carolina, and they currently lead the International League West by 10 games. The Bulls are in second place, 10.5 games behind Omaha.

The Storm Chasers have been one of the hottest teams in the International League this season, going 26-12 since May 24. They are led by outfielder Nick Pratto, who is batting .320 with 20 home runs and 64 RBIs. Pratto is one of the top prospects in the Royals' organization, and he is expected to make his Major League debut at some point this season.

The Bulls have also been playing well lately, going 17-11 since May 24. They are led by outfielder Josh Lowe, who is batting .310 with 15 home runs and 58 RBIs. Lowe is another top prospect, and he is expected to make his Major League debut this season as well.

The series between the Storm Chasers and Bulls is expected to be a close one. Both teams are playing well, and they are both fighting for a spot in the International League playoffs. The Storm Chasers will have the home-field advantage, but the Bulls will be looking to make a statement and close the gap in the standings.
